Custom Tours
Did you know you can leverage the expertise and insider connections of Tiny World Tours for a magical, fully customized tour? We frequently design personalized itineraries for group sizes of six to thirty, always aligned to specific interests, abilities, and budgets. These can be led by our staff or one of our partners, or you can go “on your own” with our coordination.
We’ll be delighted to work with you to create a custom Group Tour tailored for your family, friends, team, or organization . Your Tiny World custom tour can serve a variety of specific goals, from immersion in a culture or deep study of an artistic field to attending a festival or event, team building, healing and wellness, or a creative retreat that yields the kinds of results you desire. Our philosophy is to curate experiences of people, places, culture, and cuisine that produce lasting memories for you and your group. We love working with diverse participants from teens to octogenarians with various interests, abilities, and/or disabilities.
For example, are you curious about Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness index and how it related to Bhutan’s landscape, religion, and village activities? An immersive tour including major towns, farming villages, festivals, hiking, markets, and mountain temples will offer insights on how this tiny kingdom approaches life differently. The rich cultures of Japan—past, present, and future—can be explored “Through Artist’s Eyes” or on foot, walking on ancient samurai-era pilgrimage routes or immersive high-tech virtual realities. At the southern end o f Japan, Okinawa Japan offers something completely different—starting with unique nature, cuisine, and music. Beyond that, we can arrange special Karate experiences (the discipline started here) or “Blue Zone” experience, where people live much longer than average. Imagine a destination wedding in Nepal set against a view of Mt Everest. Members of the local Sherpa community will turn out to celebrate your wedding with traditional music, food, and dancing on the veranda at the Hotel Everest View, (Note: Same-sex weddings also welcome). Later, your wedding party can support local environment sustainability and participate in a mountaintop creative experience at the unique Sagarmatha Next, where science meets art to preserve the environment. These are just a few examples which aspects of the connectivity, creativity, and originality that Tiny World Tours can offer. Also, please consider that cooking experiences can be added to any tour.
Consider a Delegation Tour if your team, board, school group, or family reunion will be traveling together for a specific purpose! Tiny World Tours brings people together in meaningful ways, making the world feel smaller through unique experiences. If your group needs to travel together for a specific purpose such as research, team-building, or to attend a special event/conference/festival/meeting, we specialize in Delegation Tours and can be an efficient and enriching part of your planning Our special local partners with deep connections around the globe can find delightful expressions for your ideas and interests. Together we’ll work with you to co-create a bespoke group experience that exceeds expectations. Collaborative creative destinations could include Japan to work together in a renovated,100-year old building outfitted with the latest digital fabrication tools surrounded by deep forest, or to The Plant at Kyle, a noted contemporary architectural landmark at the edge of the Texas Hill Country, where your welcome dinner could start with a local beer and spirits tasting and continue with celebratory pig roast.
