Come experience a rare & unforgettable total solar eclipse with Eames Demetrios on a small plot of Kcymaerxthaere, a parallel world, located in linear Shoshoni, Wyoming! On this plot, you will witness the dedication of a new Kcymaerxthaere installation celebrating the eclipse and hear stories of the parallel world.  It has been almost 40 years since the last continental American total solar eclipse and Central Wyoming will be a popular choice for eclipse chasers because of the good weather prospects, uncrowded highways, and good duration of totality.  Although most hotels and campsites in the path of totality areas have already been sold out since last year,  we have reserved everything in time and have designed exciting and and wonderful experiences for you.

We'll provide you with round-trip travel from Denver including RV accommodations, delicious meals, a lively atmosphere, storytelling, a site dedication ceremony, and a fascinating story for you to tell when it's over.  Click here to view a blog page of a previous Tiny World tour of Kcymaerxthaere.

This experience is limited to 22 guests under the expert personal guidance of 8 main hosts* including Eames Demetrios (Kcymaerxthaere Geographer-at-Large), Mark Holzbach (Storytelling Technologist), Dana Friis-Hansen (Art Museum Professional), Carla Atwood Hartman (Denver Host), Steve Couch (Kcymaerxthaere Chef-at-Large), and a professional Astronomer, Bruce Bohannon, who designed many of the outdoor exhibits at Griffith Park Observatory.  Guests and hosts alike will co-create a unique experience combining art, science, geography, food, hot springs, and congeniality.  Transportation will be provided between Denver, CO and Shoshoni, WY. Communal RV accommodations (six RVs in total) will be based in Thermopolis, WY (30 miles north of Shoshoni).

Individual guests will pay $1,900 each for their share of hard fixed costs, and a bed charge depending on which Wyoming RV they choose ranging between $1,500 and $3,000.  (Please see RV layout images below) Beds are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis at the time of registration. A $110 per room amount will be refunded to those not requiring accommodations at theArt Hotel in Denver on the night of 8/19/17 (e.g. Denver residents).  Provided meals include 3 dinners, 3 lunches, and 3 breakfasts.  The experience will start Saturday afternoon with a guided tour of the Denver Art Museum and a sumptuous Kcymaerxthaere storytelling evening dinner party at a hip/cool urban Denver loft home.  Sunday and Monday nights will be in RV accommodations in Wyoming.

Flights are not included.  A more detailed itinerary will be shared in advance with those who register.  Please plan your Denver arrival for Saturday morning 8/19/17, and your Denver departure after 2 PM on Tuesday, 8/22/17.

According to Eames Demetrios, "One can think of Kcymaexthaere as an illuminated manuscript where every page is in a different location and some of the illumination is provided by the sensation of being in that place - or even the knowledge of being in that place. Paradoxically, perhaps, these visceral marginalia do not marginalize but make it easier to be transported."

Final payment deadline was 16 May 2017 - so full payment will be due immediately after registration deposit (see below), concurrent with the completed and signed tour agreement.

Trip details are subject to change.

Illustrated Cost Example for two people sharing a bed:

There are two components to the final bill: a) a per person share of the cost of the whole tour and b) the price of the bed.

A) Everyone pays $1,900 per person which is a share of costs: meals, staffing, overhead, vans, RV for staff, installation experience, accommodation in Denver, and more.  In a sense, the things that make this all possible

B) The cost per bed (this varies because single-person beds are priced differently than two-person beds — and in an RV, each bed is different).

The above two things determine cost.

Lastly, there is a $500 per person non-refundable registration deposit, BUT that counts towards the overall bill.

The following is an example case for two people sharing a bed.

$1,900 each for 2 people shared cost           = $3,800

$2,000 for shared bed like RV#1, Bed #1   =    $2,500

                                                                     ___________

The total in this example case:                         $6,300

Towards that, there will be an initial $1,000 ($500+$500) reservation deposit that will count towards the overall total.
