Deborah Hay is a pioneering figure in contemporary dance, renowned for her innovative choreography and profound impact on the art form. Her significance lies in her ability to push the boundaries of traditional dance, creating works that challenge and inspire audiences worldwide.

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, 6 PM, Hay will present “solo two,” an adaptation of her groundbreaking 1966 work “solo,” in the Museum Courtyard at The Getty Center in Los Angeles as part of PST ART: Art & Science Collide. PST ART is Southern California’s landmark arts event, an initiative of the Getty with over 50 exhibitions and 818 artists, exploring the intersections of art and science

Tiny World Tours is excited to help bring together Deborah Hay’s fans to attend this unique performance. For an enriching experience before Deborah’s Saturday 5 October, 6 PM performance, Mark and Dana will also lead a highlight tour of the Getty Center, including the exhibition “Sculpting with Light: Contemporary Artists and Holography” (on view through 24 November). To participate, please meet Mark and Dana at the Getty Center’s info desk at 4 PM (two hours before Deborah’s performance).

Although this Tiny World Tour is free of charge, and entrance to the Getty Center is free of charge, the Getty Center requires complimentary timed-entry tickets to be reserved in advance (and may sell out). Please click here to reserve your timed entry ticket. We recommend reserving tickets for 3:30 PM for our 4 PM highlights tour followed by Deborah’s performance. Or, for 5 PM or 5:30 PM for Deborah’s performance only.
