It began with a lot of shopping and chopping - and a big smile.

What a wonderfully lively, delicious, romantic evening!

The Plant at Kyle's Chef-in-residence Steve Couch prepared a delicious pulpo gallego (octopus) for the initial taste of the evening.

Upon arrival, our 24 guests were each offered a welcome beverage by the host (me). They starting chatting with other guests many who were meeting for the first time.  Our evening was off to a great start as many unexpected common connections kept emerging.  There were many smiles, much laughter, and a great mood.

Martha and Jamie Kinscherff, The Plant's associates, site managers, and next-door neighbors, provided a lovely musical accompaniment for the beginning of the evening.
