Join a convivial group of interdisciplinary art and performance lovers for a boundary-confounding long weekend attending the inaugural “Live in America” Festival in Bentonville, Arkansas (a project of Austin’s Fusebox Festival) that takes place under the auspices of the Crystal Bridges Musuem of America Art. In addition to attending the festival performances at the Momentary complex (a decommission cheese factory turned contemporary art space) and staying in luxury at the 21c Bentonville Hotel, (among the World's Best Hotels according to Travel + Leisure Readers), we’ll enjoy curated culinary, art & cultural experiences, and opportunities to tour the museum, meet artists, curators. festival producers, and other arts supporters like yourselves.

Our tour starts Wednesday evening with a special welcome drinks and dinner (included) where we’ll learn the lay of the land both geographically and temporally.

Thursday, Friday mornings will be free, afternoons will feature a variety of curated local experiences such as the legendary art museum and its sculpture park, and evenings will be filled with happy hours, festival performances, and after-show hang outs. As usual with Tiny World Tours, everything is optional, and we hope that you’ll want to try to do everything, and also explore on your own.

We've left Saturday for you to spend as you choose… enjoy the town square, walk or ride the trails, or see more art before heading home, or extend your stay for further exploration in this wonderful area…

What’s included:

  • Although Festival Passes are free, we’ll coordinate transportation and admission to performances such as on 9 June, El Puente, or The Bridge, that features multidisciplinary, multigenerational, multicultural performers from the Ciudad Juárez, MX-El Paso, US border region. Michigander(Fremont)/Texan(El Paso) painter, sculptor, poet, film and video maker James Magee will be a special highlight.

  • Explore the Crystal Bridges Museum and surrounding outdoor art and walking trails - bicycle rental (including electric bikes) are available.

  • Meet Ron Berry, founder and Artistic Director of Austin's Fusebox Festival — producer of Live in America!

  • Three nights hotel accommodation, double occupancy at a 4.5 star 21c Bentonville Hotel in a Luxury King room.

  • Welcome drinks & dinner at The Hive restaurant, part of the 21c Bentonville Hotel (included)

  • Visits to interesting and unique local arts, nature, & culture venues (TBA)

  • Support for the Fusebox Festival

Note: The trip begins with a 6 pm dinner on June 8th and ends with hotel checkout on Saturday, June 11th. There’s much to see and do in the Bentonville area, so we encourage you to arrive early, or extend your time here. We will be delighted to advise you regarding a possible pre-tour early arrival or post-tour itinerary extension.  Please advise us of your interest.

Tour Cost $1,250 (double occupancy)* and includes a $250 per person donation to the Austin-based Fusebox Festival.
